The Chamber is looking for energetic small business people to join its Board of Directors. As a Chamber Director, you will have the opportunity to take a “hands on” participation in Chamber matters as well as important issues facing our small business community.

In March (date TBD), the Chamber will hold its annual Board of Director Election; all positions on the board are up for election. All members who do business or own commercial property in Atwater Village and have current membership dues are eligible to run as a candidate for Board of Directors.

Representatives from the businesses of eligible members also qualify to be candidates. Eligibility is limited to paid employees, family members, or individuals directly involved in the operation of a Atwater-based business.

Directors are required to commit to:

Attend bi-monthly Board Meetings (evening meetings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm)
Volunteer and participate on various Chamber events/projects; such as Chamber Mixers, “Trick-or-Treat” on Glendale Blvd Event
Take a leadership role in promoting the civic and economic wellbeing of Atwater’s small business community.
